Welcome to the Metropolitan Washington Deaf Community Center

The Metropolitan Washington Deaf Community Center Inc., (MWDCC) promotes the interests and welfare of deaf persons. It is a non profit IRS 501(c)(3) entity welcoming any individual interested in MWDCC goals to become a member. MWDCC support comes from contributions and membership dues. Mission

Promoting programs and activities among deaf individuals, whether social, cultural, civic, educational, and/or recreational

Providing appropriate referral services so that deaf individuals may benefit from existing programs, and work toward attaining those that do not exist

Supporting empowerment and advocacy undertakings to increase accessibility for the deaf community, especially through MWDCC Roundtable on Deaf Issues
